Cooling and heating elements
Key facts at a glance
- additional cooling and heating elements available to maintain temperature levels, for example in insulated boxes
Cooling and heating elements ensure stable temperatures
When food items or complete meals need to be stored and transported (for example for catering or during a party), maintaining the correct temperature is crucial in terms of freshness and flavour. The highly insulated boxes made by thermohauser create the perfect foundations for stable temperature conditions, even over many hours.
The practical cooling elements and heat pads are ideal to support this and can be used flexibly as required. Make sure your dishes reach their destination safely and in fresh condition – insulated boxes combined with cooling or heating elements are the ideal accessories.
The cooling and heating elements in our product range are designed for use either in professional catering or in the private domain.
Professional cold packs for added freshness in insulated boxes
This professional cold pack weighs less than 500 g but offers exceptional additional chilling capacity thanks to its extra strong gel filling.
It is simply pre-chilled in the freezer at temperatures down to -18°C for at least 24 hours and then placed in the Thermobox (or another container of your choice) with the items to be kept chilled. The professional cold pack then has a constant cooling effect on its environment for many hours. The cold pack is particularly suitable for use in the cooling lids of transportation and insulation boxes. But this cold pack can also be used as an additional cooling element in the boxes themselves, as well as in cool bags and other containers.
Cold or heat as required with cold or heat pads
If you need both cold and heat in different contexts, these universal cold and heat pads are the perfect accessory.
These can either be chilled at a maximum -18°C for approx. two hours or heated in a bain-marie (max. +80°C, 10 minutes) or in the microwave (max. 240 Watt, 5 minutes). Then they can be placed in an insulated box or other thermally regulated container to help keep the temperature inside stable.
Important final information
All cool packs and heating elements comply with the relevant hygiene requirements and are easy to wash after each use under hot, running water.
Caution! It is particularly important to note that, in the event of any damage to a cooling or heating element, it should not be used again in any circumstances. Please dispose of any damaged cooling or heating element immediately.
