Insulation boxes Gastrostar – GN-standard for kitchens

There is no way round the gastronorm (GN) which is an irrevocable standard in professional kitchens, in the community food supply and in the catering industry. The thermoboxes of the series Gastrostar GN 1/1 are the new top products in the field of temperature sensitive food transportation. This range of boxes is explicitly recommended by the German Federal Association of Food Inspectors! If used appropriately ,the insulation boxes contribute to the warranty of food safety during food transportation (certificate, november 2019).

Quality meets design in Gastrostar boxes

The new thermoboxes of the series Gastrostar unite the popular high-grade value with an updated look and improved features. The insulation boxes made of foamed plastic (EPP) score with an outer surface etching, which looks nice and ensures also stability. Design lines emphasise the modern optics. The inside surface is lasered and therefore waterproof. There is no chance for leaking liquid to get stuck on the material and cause unpleasant odours or soilings. More hygiene that pays off. In terms of cleansing, the thermoboxes Gastrostar are unchangedly easy to handle – if wiping out with hot water or cleaning in the dishwasher, both options are possible. Boxes with the same basic dimensions are stackable and can therefore be stored in an easy and space saving way. Comfort and ergonomics of the insulation boxes have been optimized significantly. Recessed space on the long sides and corners facilitates essentially the loading and unloading of Gastronorm containers. The lid can be opened and closed simply from the diagonal corners. Also the handles have been considerably improved and designed even more ergonomically. Since labelling plays an increasingly important role, the EPP thermoboxes Gastrostar offer both an area for adhesive labels and also a compartment for plug-in cards. Each box contains one coloured set of plug-in cards.

Suitable accessories complete the range of the thermoboxes Gastrostar. The appropriate cooling frame allows additional continuous cooling from above with customary ice packs. The thermometer, which is integrated in the frame, enables the control of the temperature development at any time.
